CATCH-UP

So it has been a while since I blogged thought I would catch up on what has been going on. I started School in July. Going to be a Medical Specialist with the hopes that I will be an X-Ray tech. We will wait and see how things play out. I will be in Medical Specialities for about 20 mths. then figure it out from there. Kobe started to play football. He looks so dang grown up in his football uniform, it is hard for me to recognize hime. We took a annual trip to Lava Hot Springs over ther weekend of the 19-22. It was a lot of fun. We stayed and a little place that a co-worker suggested call Smith Trout Haven. This place is pretty. It has grass all over and it is nice and cool w/a trout farm on the property that you can go fishing in if you so desire. All the kids got registered for school and are excited to start except Kobe who claims that he hates school. My sister Miriam got married on the 13th of this month and it was really nice to see all my little sisters together with Valarie and spend some time with them. I wish I could spend more time with them, we seem to have so much fun together. One of my facebook friends thought that my sister Angie was getting married. Sometimes it is all a little confusting, but I have a lot of love form a lot of people so it doesn't bother me.

Mother Daughter Date

Yesterday I got to go on a date with Ellie.For achievement days we had a little get together.It was lots of fun to spend some time with Ellie.We got to do an obsticale coarse and some face painting. Ellie did a little rainbow on one of my cheeks and a heart on the other.After this we had dessert,brownies w/ice cream.It was so nice to be able to spend some qt with my lil Ellie. She is growing up way way to fast.

Meningitis

Sherise has not been feeling well for about 2 days.She woke up on Saturday with a stiff neck.we weren't to worried hoping it was just a pinched nerve.she still wasn't feeling well after a couple of days so Richard took her to the Dr. today.I really started to worry.When they got done at the Dr. Sherise called and told me that she may have a virus of Meningitis.I have never known any one that has had this so I goggled it and I guess that it is some what like to flu as long as it is viral and not bacterial.They took blood and said that they would call her is a couple of days to let her know the results.In the mean time Sherise does not feel good at all,and she thinks she may have given it to Braxton.Than just really sucks.I guess it is very contagious.Sorry Braxton.I hope all is ok with her.Love her much and can't imagine life without her.

Grace Garrison

She is hear.On Wednesday my Britt went to the Dr. for her check up and they told her that she had high blood pressure.They made her go over for some tests. and told her that she was full term and that she could delivery any time.They wanted her to come back 3 times a week to monitor her blood pressure.I guess that she went in on Friday and they kept her.The Dr. started her on some meds to soften her cervix it was moving really slow.On Sunday morning though she delivered Grace.We all thought that she would be a large babe due to James being Tie and Britt being so tall.Well she surprised us all.That little girl came in @ 5lb. 16oz. and she is only 19in. long.We piled into my Mom and Dad's van and went to SL to see her.She is so small.Britt had a very easy delivery which I am glad.Can't wait to spend some more time with her.

Memorial Day

It was a great weekend.Very busy.On Friday I got to come home a little early. I had a rough couple of days.Ellie had been very sick and we only got about 3 hrs. of sleep on Wednesday night and then on Thursday night I had some problems with Sherise and didn't get to sleep until about 2:00 and was up @ 6:30.Any way I was on the couch trying to get some sleep when I heard this screech.Richard came in holding this beautiful bird.He and the kids had rescued it from Rolo.


Twix thought it was so interesting.We put it in a box and covered it to see if it was ok.When it had calmed down a bit we took it outside to see if it could fly.It had a broken wing.Our intentions were to try to nurse it back to health,but Twix had other ideas.We had locked her inside so she wouldn't harm the bird, well I had gone inside to wash my hands,and Twix got out.Got the bird, and broke its neck.The kids were so sad.Twix got scolded by Ellie and she called her the bird killer for the rest of the day.I have not seen these birds around to much, but they are beautiful.

Baseball and Catch Up

So Ellie started to play baseball this season. Her and Kobe played t-ball a couple of years ago, and they were bored to death. Ellie is such a natural we found out that she can play coach pitch this year, so we signed her up. Kobe didn't want to play he is all about playing football this year. We had a game yesterday and it is the second game this year so Ell's got all the jitters out the first game. I must say she is quite the ball player. There are only 2 girls on the team and all the rest are boys and she can put some of those boys to shame. woot woot!!! Ellie and Kobe just got done with Soccer and they both did really well this season. They both were on the same team and Kobe was a little upset most of the season because he hadn't scored a goal but by the end of the season both of them had scored once. Sherise is wanting to enroll in something now. She keeps talking about tumbling, but to expensive. I am hoping to talk her into a soccer team or maybe a volleyball team, if I can find one that wont put me in the poor house. Sherise has a boyfriend now. Whole new set of worries, but he is a nice kid and quite respectful, not to mention scared of Rich.lol But he does hang with Ellie and Kobe and he talks to us so that is a good thing. I remains to be seen where it will go and Sherise is just sure he is the one lol we will see.

Moving On

You know I can not quite figure it all out. I know surprise surprise. I was never much for all the drama when I was young, but it sure is coming to me as I get older. I don't understand why when you tell some one to move on and to forget about you, that just doesn't happen. Not so much with me but others who are around me. I don't know why people want so much stress in their lives. I can think of so so many other things to do than to be hateful and cruel. Sherise has the immature little friends that just don't get it. I know I am asking a lot for 13 to 14 year old girls to be mature, but I would think that if someone said that they did not want to be friends any more and Sherise left her alone, why on earth would she try to be friends with her again? This has happened so many times since they have been friends, that it is really starting to get old. Then to start with the name calling. When I was young we would never call someone some of the names that are being thrown around now. And it is just plane mean and hateful. So my only solace is that this to shall pass. And soon none of this will even matter.
